Training Ride with the boys
Something special about being out on the bike and the sun coming through the clouds for the first time in a few weeks.
Love the Sun
Tweek your Core to get more

Your bulging quads and razor-cut calves are the envy of your pack, and you start every ride strong. As the ride progresses, though, your hips seesaw in the saddle, your lower back aches, and you slow in corners. The problem? Your core cries uncle long before your legs wear out. Although a cyclist’s legs provide the most tangible source of power, the abs and lower back are the vital foundation from which all movement, including the pedal stroke, stems.
Shed weight. Live longer. Get a great looking ass.

If there’s one issue that dominates my life more than any other; the one which I go to battle over every day, then it’s this… I hate being fat.
So I’ve decided to do something about it.
Winter Training Update

I think the variety is important with training at this time of year, as too much of any one thing (particularly the turbo trainer) can get very monotonous.
How to use ‘Richmond Park’ for ‘L’Etape du tour Mondovelo’ training

TRAINING LOG #2
Adam and I left work in Parsons Green heading in towards central London, using embankment as a good distance with flow. We crossed Vauxhall bridge and headed east towards London Bridge.
TRAINING LOG: #1
Left work around 6pm, felt good today, recovery from tummy bug at 95%. My fist lap of Richmond park was very hard work, traffic was a problem today (note to self-afternoon traffic is restricting on week days). My bike as developed a creaking sound in the frame…
Roady Steady Go

I have finally succumbed to the influences of my friends and bought myself a road bike. I have told myself that this is only for training and commuting. We’ll see how long I can stick to this theory. As I plan to do the Maxx Exposure 40mile night loop this year, I felt it necessary [...]
